Yes. Our Routine Fresh and Momma's Way services provide bed making and changing of one set of bed sheets. Additional sets of bed sheets would be considered an additional service. Changing bed linens is considered different from housekeeping and laundry services.
Do Your House Cleaners Change Bed Sheets?
Yes, changing bed linens is part of the service scope for several of our house cleaning services. Changing one set of bed linens is part of Routine Fresh and Momma's Way services. Additional bed linens would be considered a separate service.
There is a difference between making the bed, changing the bed linens and doing the laundry.
Routine Fresh services include housecleaning and maintenance services. Therefore bed making as part of the service scope would not include bed care services. Current service information indicates changing more than one set of bed linens would be considered a service scope change.
Our Deep Clean option goes beyond our standard clean. It pays special attention to moldings, baseboards, window sills and blinds, cabinet fronts and door frames. While it includes bed making and a sheet change, it is not a bed linen laundry service.
Prior to Cleaning, What Should You Remove?
If you would like the beds made and the sheets changed, you should provide the cleaned sheets to the cleaners.
The cleaners are not responsible for determining which linens belong on which beds. If there is more than one bed in the residence, the cleaners will not know which bed you want made.
In order to assist the cleaners to make the bed you should:
- Remove all items from the bed.
- Place the new and/or clean bed linens on the bed.
- If there is any special instruction concerning the bed linens to include pillows or a mattress pad, the cleaners should be notified in advance.
While the goal is to have the bed made perfectly, the important thing is to provide the cleaners access to the bed so they can carry out their duties. The same is true of the other areas to be cleaned, that is, not to have the entire bedroom perfectly cleaned, but to remove the majority of the items that are not needed or used.

What Is the Difference Between Changing One Set of Sheets and Multiple Sets of Sheets?
Currently, the scope of services provided by Come Back Clean excludes changing more than one set of sheets and considers additional requests for sheet changes as an additional service.
That said, publishing a price for a sheet change for an additional bed would require further analysis. CBC does not issue a public rate card and price varies based on the home, the service requested and the staffing required for the job.
The following requests for service and how they will be charged are illustrated below.
- Bed Making: Included if stated in Scope of Services.
- Changing a single set of sheets: Included in Routine Fresh and Momma's Way.
- Changing multiple sets of sheets: Additional service.
- Washing bedding: Not included in Residential Service.
- Changing an unlimited number of sets of sheets: Not included in any service.
If multiple sets of sheets need to changed for a bed, let us know. We will not assume all the beds in the home will have the sheets changed.
Is Sheet Changing the Same as Laundry Service?
No. Changing bed linens will not include the service of washing the family's clothes.
A standard home cleaning service is not the same as a laundry service. Including laundry in your service expectations would require the home cleaner to perform additional tasks, which may include sorting and, or, separating laundry, monitoring the laundry process, and/or handling your household items and/or linens.
Come Back Clean's standard home cleaning services describe the limits of our services. Just because a service team member removes and replaces sheets does not mean the team will wash and/or dry the linens or take on the function of your household laundromat.
Team members have limits on their work expectations. Your team should not be expected to manage your household laundry during the performance of a standard home cleaning service.
What Happens During a Move-In/Move-Out Service?
A service described as Momma's Way or Routine Fresh is different from a Move-In/Move-Out service.
A Move-In/Move-Out service describes in detail the work performed during the turn over of a vacant or transitional dwelling. This service describes work performed on household items, such as hand wiping baseboards, door moldings, and cabinet fronts, and empty drawers and cabinets. This service describes work performed on the household floor and bath. This service goes on to describe work performed on empty kitchens and household appliances. This service goes further to describe work performed on household items, such as the microwave, the stove, and the oven.
What is still present on the bed or with the bedding? If you are not sure, check with us beforehand. It is important because we may adjust the service to account for the existing condition of the home.
What Does the Standard Housekeeping Service Include?
Yes, the service includes changing a set of bed linens. If there is a request to change the linens on multiple beds, Come Back Clean must be notified to confirm the scope of work, as an additional set of linens for each bed may be required.
Will the housekeeping staff wash the linens?
The linens may not be washed. Linens must be changed by the clients prior to the service.
Will you provide the fresh linens?
Yes, you should provide the linens you want on the bed. This is to minimize ambiguity and ensure we don't waste time during the appointment figuring out which linens to use.
Can the service provider change the sheets during the appointment?
Yes, changing the sheets is allowed during a regular service appointment and is considered part of the scope of work. The Routine Fresh service is designed to regularly perform maintenance on an already cleaned house. Therefore, it wouldn't allow for the recurring cleaning of the other previously performed maintenance on the house. If the other maintenance on the house is performed first, the Better Way service would allow for a more thorough cleaning of the house.
Request Changes to Bed Linens and Other Items Prior to Service
If you want your service provider to provide you with fresh linens, you should specify this when you schedule your appointment and ensure the linens are available for the service provider when they arrive. The Routine Fresh service is designed to regularly clean and maintain your house. If your house needs other maintenance first, the Better Way service would allow for a more thorough cleaning of the other maintenance performed on the house.
